SEACOAST, NEW HAMPSHIRE – The Human Action Foundation has just launched a new website for 2019, along with new information for donors and volunteers. The Foundation has had a momentous first few years of operation, with a $325,000 crowdfund and the purchase of its first property – the liberty community center in Dover NH. With the new website’s single-page design, visitors can simply scroll down to learn about the organization’s mission, current programs, personnel, and ways to get involved.
Among the ways to get involved, the Foundation has announced new donor recognition programs. The Human Action Fund is an ongoing crowdfund that accepts donations of any amount, with donations above $100 receiving a limited-edition lapel pin. HAF Supporters, monthly recurring donors, now receive free admission to all HAF events, including Freecoast Festival. The Foundation now recognizes commercial sponsors with year-round acknowledgement on the website, in the liberty community center, and at all HAF events. It is the Board’s hope that all donors will feel recognized and appreciated for their contributions.
The Human Action Foundation is a volunteer-run organization, so the new website features a prominent volunteer application. Volunteers can contribute their time and effort to one of HAF’s three main programs described on the new website: The Liberty Community Center, Free Thoughts, or Good Deeds. Each program has many projects underway, but volunteers are also invited to pitch their own projects. The new FAQ section of the website explains how the HAF Board evaluates these project proposals.
“The new website gives a concise overview of our Foundation, but it also speaks to different audiences who might want to get involved,” says HAF President Mike Vine. “People want community. Our job is to help them build it.”
